Kennedy Build

A call to Kennedy Lake to help build Dan's new recreation dream.

Rudy drew up the plans ,Dan provided the materials.

Friends came by to watch and lend a small hand.

The master crafter was at work again. How lucky was I to find someone as hard working and talented as Rudy.

And how lucky was Daniel to be a chip off the old block.Having a father willing to help and train and work side by side to make a sons dreams come true.

They put in long , hard hours.

Strong the two of them.

And at the end of the day they had the first wall up.

And then the Atv's were used to pull up the second wall.

a neighbor came by to help stabalize the wall

and there you have it, wall two is up

and friends came to see...

and I went for a short walk

The weather had cleared the lake was so peaceful.

The duck's were fun to watch

And then the trusses were made and the roof started to take shape.

And it warmed my heart to see the two of them working and enjoying themselves.

And all to put a smile on this lovely ladies face.

It worked, yes? Their first construction build. Yes it took me back to our first years of marriage.

And how lucky I was to be part of this new journey in my sons and daughter in laws life.
